Welcome to Gate Safe, the national campaign which aims to improve the safety of automated gates.
Since the inception of the Gate Safe initiative in 2010, we have tirelessly campaigned to raise awareness of the need for an enhanced understanding of automated gate safety amongst the wide range of professionals associated with an automated gate installation.
The key aims for Gate Safe are:
- to raise awareness / educate all professionals associated with automated gate installations on the need to improve standards in gate automation safety
- to provide guidance on best practice to ensure a safe automated gate installation
- to lobby for improved policing (and subsequent maintenance) of gates which were installed prior to the current guidelines / legislation
- to unite the trades associated with gate automation and encourage a cohesive approach to automated gate safety
